MODEN RESPONSE TEAM APPLAUDS SUCCESS OF APC, IN EDO LOCAL GOVERNMENT ELECTIONS.

The last weekend, local government elections which took place across the 18 local government areas of the state was greeted by a huge success for candidates under the All Progressives Congress (A.P.C), who contested for office of the Chairman and Councillor, across the 18 LGA's and 192 wards of Edo.

Prior to the election, there was no surprise about this outcome as the party has put so much in place to actualise this victory by fielding popular candidates from the grassroots to contest and coupled with the performance of Mr. Governor across the state, it was only natural for a resounding success to follow. 

By this, the people of Edo State have once again expressed unanimous confidence in the administration of Sen. Monday Okpebholo and believe in the ideology of the party, which already gives a pointer to the shape of the 2027 general elections in Edo state. 

The election also recorded a commendable turnout of voters which express the level of confidence the people have in democratic processes under the administration of His Excellency, which is a strong improvement from the eyesore elections of such nature once used to be in our state previously marked by voters oppression, intimidation and rigging. 

MODEN response team, finds the conduct, process and outcome worthy of commendation to the Party and Governor of Edo State. Kudos also must be given to the state electoral umpire for the transparency, neutrality and professionalism deployed at the polls on Saturday.  

Our message to the newly elected chairmen and councillors, is that they must do all within their means to replicate the practical governance model developed by Sen. Monday Okpebholo even at the grassroots to effectively consolidate the good works of Mr. Governor in our state to further strengthen the trust of the people in this administration and our party.
