PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN, SECURES SECOND CONSECUTIVE UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE TITLE.

The winners of 2026 English Premier League, Arsenal, on May 30th, 2026, at the Budapest stadium, took on French side Paris Saint-Germain, where PSG clinched another UCL title win.

PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN, SECURES SECOND CONSECUTIVE UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE TITLE.
The UEFA Champions league finals played between Arsenal and the defending champions, PSG, on May 30th, 2026, saw to the emergence of Paris Saint-Germain, after a keenly contested 90 minutes play time, which couldn't separate both teams.

Winners of the 2026, English Premier League, Arsenal, opened the score line, at the 6th minute into the first half, where Harvertz, found the top corner of the net, to the amazement of fans at the Budapest stadium and viewers across the globe. 

A commendable momentum was maintained by the French side, which made efforts to get back into the game during the first half, but were resisted by a firm Arsenal defence. Six (6) minutes of play, was added to the first half.

However, 65 minutes into the second half, Ousmane Dembélé secured an equaliser for the French side, through a penalty kick awarded when Cristhian Mosquera fouled Khvicha Kvaratshkelia in the box, which put Paris Saint-Germain, back into the game, to fight for the UCL title. The second half also saw to more prevalence from the side of PSG. 

After 90 mins of play, the game remained undecided, leading to extra time, at 120 minutes of play. Both sides took turns to take penalty, with P.S.G securing a 4-3 victory, over co-contenders. 

This crucial victory for the French side at the end of penalty time, eventually separated both sides after an intensive match fixture.
